I began painting with watercolour and oils in 2006 after a serious illness left me with challenging disabilities.  I am a self-taught artist, my love of the natural world is reflected in my paintings of wildlife, flowers, plants and Norfolks stunning coastal landscapes. 

I live in Brancaster on the North Norfolk coast where I also support my husband Stephen in his picture framing and photography business https://www.pebblesphotography.co.uk.

My work has been successfully shown in exhibitions, and my commissions can be found in a number of private collections.

When working on a pet portrait I find it helpful to meet the animal and take a series of reference photographs.  I appreciate that this may not always be possible and I can work from photographs supplied by the client.
